Water selection – manufacturer specifications
• Total hardness (GH) and carbonate hardness (KH), measured in German degrees of hardness (°dH), within a range of 4 °dH to 6 °dH
• TDS (total dissolved solids) value of 90–150 ppm (parts per million), or 160–260 µS (microsiemens)
• pH-neutral at 7.5
• Chloride (part of non-carbonate hardness) < 30 ppm • Bottled water that can be recommended: e.g. Volvic • Bottled waters that are NOT suitable for steam pressure generation: e.g. Evian, Vittel, BlackForest, Gerolsteiner Tools for determining water quality and specifications
• LM water test kit: Original La Marzocco MULTIPLE PARAMETER TEST KIT
• TDS meter: e.g. available here Original La Marzocco DIGITAL TDS METER
• Drop test for determining KH and GH: e.g. available here BWT hot beverage test kit
• Chloride test strips: e.g. available here MQuant™ chloride test strips for water, wastewater and food

Depending on the purchase date, model, and location, your machine will either be sent in, repaired on site at your location, or taken to a regional service partner.

You can choose from several colours for your Linea Mini and Linea Micra. The GS3 also offers wooden accents. For colours and materials that are not shown in the shop, please contact our team.

The most important thing you can do for your machine is to use the right water. Every machine is supplied with a water test kit, which you can use to assess your water quality. Check your values in the La Marzocco Water Calculator. You can also find an article on water quality in our blog.

Here are typical maintenance tips to prevent issues:
• Regular cleaning of the brew group and shower screens
• Weekly backflushing with a blind filter and detergent (Puly Caff)
• Descaling (depending on water quality) – no flow-through descaling!!
• Inspection of the group gasket and steam valve gasket (every 6–12 months)
• Annual check of pump, solenoid valves, and seals – to be carried out by qualified personnel

Oh! We’re sorry to hear that. What exactly are you not satisfied with? Please send us a short message and let us know what went wrong. Of course, your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. However, we would be happy to assist you personally first!

The Linea Mini barista kit includes:
1 tamper, 1 milk pitcher, 1 single-spout portafilter, 1 double-spout portafilter, filter baskets + blind filter, user manual & quick start guide, cleaning powder

The Linea Micra barista kit includes:
1 tamper, 1 milk pitcher, 1 multi portafilter, single-spout insert, double-spout insert, filter baskets + blind filter, user manual & quick start guide, cleaning powder

The GS3 barista kit includes:
Plumb-in kit, 1 tamper, 1 single-spout portafilter, 1 double-spout portafilter, filter baskets + blind filter, user manual, cleaning powder

After successfully completing your order, you will receive a confirmation by email.

We usually process your order within 1–2 business days. If the machine is available, a serial number will be assigned and the invoice will be issued.

In addition to the machine, you only need a grinder and coffee beans to prepare an espresso.

Common issues and solutions
for Linea Mini/Mini-R, Linea Micra, GS3 AV/MP

Technically trained personnel required!

• Water tap closed or no water supply Check the water tap / refill the tank
• Clogged water filter or inlet hose Clean or replace the filter
• Clogged flow restrictor (gicleur) Remove and clean the flow restrictor (check water quality)
• Defective solenoid valve Check solenoid valve functionality and replace if necessary
• Level sensor does not detect water in the tank Check tank contacts and cable connections

Technically trained personnel required!

• Defective PID controller or temperature sensor Measure the temperature sensor (check resistance)
• Thermal fuse triggered Manually reset or replace the thermal fuse
• Heating element defective Check the heating element for continuity
• Faulty control board or relay Check the control board and SSR

Technically trained personnel required!

• Foreign object in the fill solenoid valve Inspect the fill valve for damage or contamination
• Defective/leaking fill solenoid valve Inspect the fill valve for damage or contamination
• Hole in the heat exchanger Pressure test the heat exchanger once removed
GS3 only: defective check valves in the line from steam boiler to mixing valve Replace the check valves

Technically trained personnel required!

• Leak at the brew valve or steam valve gasket Replace seals (e.g. group gasket, PTFE gasket)
• Loose fittings or burst hose connections Check screw connections and retighten
• Defective PTFE seals or O-rings Visual inspection for corrosion or cracks in metal components

Technically trained personnel required!

• Incorrect PID setting or defective sensor Check PID settings and verify temperature
• Overpressure valve stuck Check the safety thermostat, clean or replace the overpressure valve
• No water in the boiler (dry run) Check the water level (tank/boiler)

Technically trained personnel required!

• Fault on the main control board Measure voltage, check fuses
• Defective SSR (solid-state relay) Check relay functionality and replace if necessary
• Issue with power supply or internal fuse Inspect the control board for visible damage (burn marks)

Technically trained personnel required!

• Level sensor (tank sensor or boiler probe) does not detect the fill level of the steam boiler Clean or replace contacts and sensors; check the electrical conductivity of the water (too soft?)
• Defective pressure switch or control relay Check electronics and replace relay or control board if necessary

Technically trained personnel required!

• Limescale buildup in the steam boiler or steam valve Unscrew the steam tip and clean the holes
